Please update any medications online at least 2 days before camp begins. If this information is not updated online, you will be asked to step out of line to complete it during the check-in process. Even if you have entered medications in previous years, they MUST be re-entered.
1. Log in to your account and select your camper's name from the Account Members.
2. Click on "Medications" and choose “Manage Medications” to add.
It is necessary for all medications to be in the original bottle. Please only send the exact amount of medication for the week in the original container for efficient and safe administration. As a reminder, campers may not carry oral medications with them and all medications are to be checked in with the nurse upon arrival. This includes emergency medications, such as epipens and inhalers. Further instructions for self-carrying emergency medications will be given by the nurse at check-in. If you have any questions or concerns related to medications or the medical care of your camper please reach out to our Medical Staff at nurse@cysc.com.
Our amazing kitchen staff has been working hard to make sure that every camper feels right at home this summer. If your information has changed since you registered, please update it at least one week before the start of your session:
1. Log in to your account and select your camper's name from the Account Members.
2. Click on "My Forms" and select the "Medical Information" form.
3. List any food allergies/intolerances in the final box.
As a reminder, all of our food is prepared nut-free and we can regularly accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian diets. If your camper has additional food allergies or restrictions for which you may need to supply supplemental food (e.g. egg, soy, corn), please reach out to our Food Services team at foodservices@damascus.net.
If your camper has diabetes, our medical staff would like the opportunity to review medical needs specific to your camper prior to Sunday check-in. At your next convenience, follow this link to complete this Diabetic Information Form specific to your camper with diabetes.
Two weeks before your session begins, print this Pre-Camp Blood Sugar and Insulin Record.pdf. Complete the form every day for the two weeks leading up to your session at camp. This will equip the medical team with an idea of your camper's typical glucose levels and insulin intake.
If you have any questions, please reach out to our Medical Staff at nurse@cysc.com.
If your camper has special needs, we ask that you share more information about their care by filling out this form on your reservation. Special needs could include, but are not limited to:
- Physical Disabilities (hearing impaired, uses leg brace or wheelchair, blindness, etc.)
- Mental Disabilities (Down’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc.)
- Learning Disabilities (use of an aide or other accommodations at school)
Our Director of Counselors and/or Nursing Staff will review your form and will consider the camper's needs in context of the rhythm of CYSC. Depending on the level of care required, you may be asked to supply an aide in order for your child to attend CYSC. All aides can attend camp free of cost with lodging and food provided.
If information regarding special needs is not communicated or a requested aide is not supplied, Damascus reserves the right to deny a camper stay or request the family to pick up the camper early.
Thank you for helping us set your children up for success!
The Digital All Access Pass allows you and your family to build on your CYSC encounter year-round! This pass gives access to high quality videos of every main stage message, recordings of powerful times of worship, camp montage video highlights, and more! Your CYSC Digital All Access Pass can be purchased here, and login information will be distributed after the summer in September of 2024.
As a reminder, if something changes and you need to cancel your reservation, you are able to receive a refund for any payments beyond the $150 deposit until 1 month before your session. Cancellations within 1 month are not eligible for a refund.
