Frequently Asked Questions

What is the schedule of the retreat?
Plan to arrive Friday evening after 5pm and depart Sunday in the early afternoon. A Saturday vigil or Sunday morning Mass will be included in the retreat.
The exact schedule may be adjusted year-to-year, but you can expect the following elements to be part of the experience of your retreat:
  • Keynote & breakout sessions
  • Mass
  • Eucharistic Adoration
  • High-adventure activity options
  • Good food and fellowship
  • Praise and worship
  • Small group discussion
Is each retreat different?
These retreats are designed to offer an experience of rest, community, prayer, and adventure that honors the masculine and feminine! The overall structure of the retreats is very similar but varies in the details. In a given academic year, both retreats share the same theme that guides the main stage messages, breakouts, and times of prayer for both retreats, but with different emphasis for men and for women.
The spring and fall versions of each men’s or women’s retreat offer the same program of talks and activities for different participants.
Where will I stay?

Lodging in our cabins is included in the retreat cost. Most participants will stay in our Hillcrest or Woodland Cabins. All cabins are outfitted with Amish-built bunk beds. Learn more about the campus here!

If you are a nursing mom or have other physical needs, please reach out to registration@damascus.net about alternative accommodations

How much does a retreat cost?
The cost of each weekend is $215. This includes lodging, all meals and snacks, activities, and a T-shirt.
What is the cancellation policy?
Each reservation includes a $50 non-refundable deposit due at the time of reservation. Any additional payments are eligible for a refund up to 1 month before your retreat, after which point our costs are committed and we are no longer able to provide refunds.
We are sorry, but this policy also applies to cancellations that may arise as a result of illness, injury or other unforeseen circumstances as our contracted expenses are also binding. If possible, transfers to another session can be made without charge.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to registration@damascus.net.
