Each year, thousands of young people come to Damascus to encounter Jesus in a life-changing way. We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, LPN) to join our mission by serving on our medical team. Whether for a week during our summer camps or for 1–3 days at school-year retreats, your presence makes a difference. Provide compassionate, professional care in a dynamic, faith-filled environment where high-adventure activities meet high-adventure faith. More Information
We welcome licensed healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, DOs, paramedics, and others with appropriate clinical licensure. All volunteers must complete a background check and the Protecting God’s Children certification.
Nursing or pre-med students are invited to apply to our summer medical staff.
- Assist with camper medication check-in and administration throughout the week (primarily during mealtimes and before bedtime)
- Assess and care for camper and staff medical needs, most commonly basic first aid
- Respond to urgent or emergency situations, providing appropriate triage and activating emergency services when necessary (i.e., 911)
- On-site lodging with air conditioning
- All meals provided with snacks & coffee
- Opportunities to enjoy camp life, including access to outdoor activities and games, lake, and trails
- Meaningful encounters with Christ through the sacraments and through caring for campers in moments of need
- The support and fellowship of a community of missionaries and other volunteers
During summer camp (June-August), we need weekly volunteers in Centerburg, OH and at smaller camps in Brighton, MI and Emmitsburg, MD.
Our Centerburg, OH camp also welcomes volunteers for shorter retreats throughout the school year.
